The holidays are fast approaching and the gift of a homemade goodie is priceless. You know that someone took the time in preparing something thuoghtful just for you. This person didnât just go to the store to pick it up, no, they put thought and work into creating something special. Thatâs one of the main reasons I enjoy giving a homemade treat from my kitchen to my friends. Often it isnât anything fancy. It could be some simple cookies. Wouldnât it be nice if you could also send the recipe along as a beautiful card. PicMonkey makes this possible. It offers tools that allow you to create your own recipe card with images, text, overlays, and borders.I already use PicMonkey for editing my foodie pictures and I LOVE it.
Here is my creation of a Pic Monkey recipe card featuring Spritz Cookies which is a German Christmas cookie called Spritzgebaeck. You can find my recipe here.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you the best. Most editing features on PicMonkey are free of charge. Isnât that incredible? Head on over today to create your own PicMonkey recipe card or PicMonkey Christmas card.
You can find a little tutorial here.

How cool!! Beautiful job on your recipe card and the recipe is completely different than the one I make every year -there must be many variations on this recipe..but love these cookies -they just say Christmas to me ð Iâm going to make more of these cards-they are so sweet ð
Thanks for this Kirsten. I was going to handwrite about 10 recipe cards for an event for work for my pumpkin pie martini. I use picmonkey a lot and didnât know this feature existed. Heading over there now.
